Since starting operations on 01.02.2016 the Cooperative Storage Library Switzerland (CSLS) has experienced continuous development.
Lucerne’s courts store files at the CSLS, 01.10.2018
Due to space restrictions the Higher Court of the Canton of Lucerne, the Criminal Court and the District Court of Lucerne decide to store their files at the CSLS.We welcome the University Library St. Gallen, 01.09.2017
The CSLS welcomes the library of HSG St. Gallen as a new member. The Association correspondingly grows to include 6 members.
Opening ceremony, 24.06.2016
The completed building is officially opened.
Start of first ingestion, 18.03.2016
On 18.03.2016 the first lorries arrive on site, delivering books for the first ingestion. In the initial period up to 220 000 items are stored each month.
Building handover, 01.02.2016
The building is handed over on 01.02.2016 and the CSLS moves into its offices in the administrative wing. Following this, ingestion of items to the high-bay storage facility takes place continuously from the very first day of operations.
